Apart from the showcase of future world technology, BOI Fair is also the greatest national exposition of academic and business seminar that giving an opportunity to entrepreneurs, business men, students and general people to access to the crucial information for investment and business management from the experts in various specific fields and projected to see 3,000 attendees at least per day.
Ms. Ajarin Pattanapanchai, Senior Executive Investment Advisor, Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) unveiled that BOI Fair 2011 “Going Green for the Future” the exhibition that will be held on 5th – 20th January 2012 at Impact Muang Thong Thani is not only the exhibition to showcase future technology, but also a venue for the greatest national academic and business seminar exposition with over 200 seminar programs being arranged during 5th – 10th January. It is expected to see 3,000 attendees at least per day. According to the huge response from interested person that registered to attend the seminar through on-line system, therefore, BOI provided another channel to those interested ones to register for attending the seminar at the seminar date in front of seminar room. The seminar programs will be categorized in 7 groups. Those are Group A: Innovation & Creative Economy, Group B: The opportunity of Thai business in investing abroad, Group C: Business opportunity building in Thailand and the role of government sector, Group D: Going Green for the Future, Group E: The administration and business management, Group F: Others, and Group G: Information needed to know in doing business.
Each seminar program will be varied in information including Green technology / Green industry, Import and Export, custom, Free Trade Agreement, SMEs, labor, environment, business procedure, economic direction, fashion, innovation which will be lectured by dignified academics who profoundly gain enormous experience in specific fields related to the addressed topic.
For today big seminar program will be “Save Our Planet weather, water and soil: helping Thailand from the changing climate”. The seminar will be held from 13.30-17.15 hours and addressed by profound speakers and specific field experts comprised of Mom Rajawongse SuKhumbhand Paribatra, Governor of Bangkok, speaking on “Bangkok preparation for the climate change”, Dr.Art-Ong Jumsai Na Ayudhya, on the topic of “Helping Thailand, our weather, water and soil”, Mr. Akom Termpittayapaisit, Secretary General of National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) on the issue of “Sustainable growing policy: mechanism for low carbon development in Thailand”.
Later on, General Lertrat Ratanavanich, Independent Director, Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, Director to the Audit Committee, PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited, or PTTEP will mention the topic “PTTEP, the challenge for reducing global warming problem” and Dr. Seree Suparatit, Director of Energy for Environmental Centre and the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park will present in the topic of “Preparation for survival from the impact of climate change” and Professor Dr. Kriengsak Chareonwongsak, Economic academic will note on “Government policy to manage with natural disasters”.
The seminar programs likely to be popular among general people who are entrepreneurs or prospective entrepreneurs are “Investment in Africa”, “investment in Latin America”, “Investment in CLMV/ASEAN” including other interesting topics already accepted to address by profound lecturers.
